A real revelation in terms of updates is the Realme company that lately is working hard to bring the future Android 11 OS to their devices, of course including their own Realme UI 2.0 custom interface. In fact, the Asian brand has been able to demonstrate that it gives the right support to its terminals, even in Italy, offering almost everyone the latest major release of the green robot.
The next major update will be the Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 and many are wondering what are the release times and what are the new features. The first question is perhaps still too early to answer, although the first beta for the X50 5G model has already been released, but for the second question we can already analyze some of the new features that will be protagonists in Realme UI 2.0.

As already mentioned at the moment Realme UI 2.0 does not yet exist, but only a beta of Android 11 has been released. However, there are already many new features that have been talked about and which will be linked to the interface of the Asian brand and specifically we are talking about :
New for screenshots
For screenshots it will be possible to select the text while new buttons will be introduced to carry out and share screenshots on the Recent menu and finally a new pop-up is introduced, with smaller dimensions with options to delete the notification, share and modify the screenshot.
Refresh rate optimizations
Applications and games will be able to set a custom refresh rate by increasing or decreasing the visual fluidity of the screen according to the application or game used. A function particularly dedicated to the gaming experience.
New movement gestures
In Realme UI 2.0, movement gestures will be introduced, that is the possibility of controlling some functions by making movements in the air, such as putting in play / pause the reproduction of a multimedia content. A function that in reality we have already appreciated in the past for example with Samsung devices.
New for notifications on Realme UI 2.0
A theme particularly close to the user's heart is that relating to notifications, which in the new update with Androdi 11 will expand with many new features, such as the notification history, a function with which it will also be possible to view the notifications deleted previously. It will also be possible to label some notifications as important or hide the silent notifications icons from the status bar but also eliminate persistent notifications, all seasoned with a new notification panel interface with more spaced sections.
Ethernet tethering on Android 11 and Realme UI 2.0
Another novelty concerns the sharing of data connectivity, until now possible through Bluetooth and USB tethering, but with Android 11 Ethernet tethering will be introduced. In practice, it will be possible to connect your terminal to the PC using the Ethernet port, naturally via a special cable. However, this function will only be useful to those who own desktop PCs as the Ethernet port is increasingly absent on notebooks and laptops.
Fixing app in the share menu
In Realme UI 2.0 it will be possible to pin the applications of the sharing menu at the top to always have them at your touch. For example, if you often share content on WhatsApp, you will have the possibility to put the app in the first place in the sharing menu in order to always reach it easily.
Improvements to app permissions
For applications that are not used for some time, a new function will come into play that will allow you to revoke the permissions and authorizations previously given, in order to guarantee security. In fact, if we have a malicious app on our smartphone, it will cease to cause damage.
Double click on the back
The function uses the gyroscope and the accelerometer and will allow you to perform some actions on the device with a simple double click on the backcover of the smartphone. Of course, there will also be a system to avoid taking accidental double clicks on the back of the phone as valid.
Second level screen lock
In order to better safeguard children while using the smartphone, a second screen lock will be implemented with Android 11. Using it, you can prevent children from accessing certain apps and device functions that are not suitable for them.
