Tomorrow, Realme will officially present the new Realme V5. The smartphone will debut with a Dimensity 720, MediaTek's latest 5G-ready chipset for mid-range devices. So, after theOPPO A72 5G which recently presented, the Realme V5 will be the second smartphone to arrive in China with the Dimensity 720.
Realme V5: The benchmark on GeekBench confirms the CPU on board
In any case, the device was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform poco before the official launch.
As we already know, RMX2111 and RMX2112 are the model numbers in which the Realme V5 arrives. The first of the two appeared with the aforementioned model number on Geekbench 4 reaching a score of 2493 in the single-core test and 6555 in the multi-core test.
The Dimensity 720 chipset is mentioned with its model number MT6853V / ZA on Geekbench. The SoC is paired with 8 GB of RAM and the device runs on Android 10 OS.
According to the latest rumors, the smartphone will be available in China in two versions with 6 GB of RAM + 128 GB of memory and 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of memory variants. It is also expected that it will be Realme's cheapest 5G smartphone in the Asian country.
As for the device with model number RMX2121, we have seen this on TENAA recently and could be the most premium version of the Realme V5. So most likely it could be called Realme V5 Pro.
