After the presentation of the new Qualcomm home processor, or the Snapdragon 865, almost all smartphone manufacturers seem intent on letting the world know that they too will have a device with the chipset in question. So here after the flagship of Oppo that we already know will arrive at the beginning of the year, even that of Realme will adopt the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. But the brand does not forget the other processor announced yesterday or the Snapdragon 765G, which we will also see on a Realme device.
Realme X50 Pro and X50 will adopt Snapdragon 865 and 765G respectively
Previously, Realme had anticipated a new smartphone, namely the Realme X50. This will be the first 5G device equipped with the Chinese brand with dual-mode support NSA / SA; a technology that allows you to connect to multiple 5G antennas. So, now that we know of the existence of the Snapdragon 765G which among other things supports the next generation network connection, it is normal to think that the smartphone equips this chip.
As for the flagship series instead. The first Realme flagship for 2020 will adopt the Snapdragon 865. This device will most likely be the Realme X50 Pro, unless there are changes of direction.
Of course, the Snapdragon 865 will also support the 5G dual mode SA and NSA. In terms of performance, the graphics performance of the Snapdragon 865 is 25% higher than the previous generation. At the same time, we have a fifth generation AI engine, with twice the processing power of the Snapdragon 855.
Finally, Realme founder and CEO Li Bingzhong said that starting in 2020, Realme will go totally 5G in the Chinese market and will no longer launch 4G mobile phones.
Li Bingzhong then pointed out that Realme will be one of the cheapest brands regarding 5G smartphones. It will therefore be one of the companies that will make 5G technology mainstream by lowering prices and making it affordable for everyone.
