The smartphones market is seeing one flexion not only for the coronavirus epidemic but also for an "internal" reason. We refer to the fact that telephony brands, to cover an ever wider market segment, present models on device models. Realme is among them and as the latest version of the Realme X50 we see the arrival of the Realme X50 Youth. This version is profoundly different from the standard and the Pro, so much so that we ask ourselves: does it make sense to call it that?

The device in question has finally made a trip to the Tena or the portal of the Chinese certification body of smartphones. After leaks that have been going on for months, finally his design is known, together with technical key. Let's see what (not) awaits us under the shell.
Let's start with the design: the front picks up the Pro model with two cameras placed in the upper left corner. The edges will be minimal as normal. On the back side we find one quad camera with vertical traffic light, very similar to the Pro and standard models but not the same. In fact, upon careful analysis, the first camera (the top one) is less spaced from the second. This foreshadows a main photographic sensor with less megapixels and generally smaller. The position of the LED flash also changes since with the Realme X50 Youth or we find below and not above.
In the front the panel is of type LCD from 6.57 ″ and with resolution FullHD + (1080 x 2400 pixel).
Now let's move on to the most important part, namely the technical.
We do not know the processor that will have under the hood but the corridor rumors speak of a Dimensity 1000. I personally don't think it will have this SoC since, as we have seen it for Oppo Reno 3, the performances are really high…a little too much for a Youth Edition. Regardless of the processor, we will find the cameras rear formed by four sensors 48 (main) + 8 (wide angle) + 2 (macros) + 2 depth) megapixel, while the front ones are made up of two sensors 16 (main selfie) + 2 (depth) megapixel.
On the certification we also read that there will be a battery from 4.100 mAh can be circulated through fast charge a 30w.
But now let's get to the name. What does it mean Youth? We do not know this model in Europe but we know of the existence of Lite models. Here, it's probably just this variant. While though in China this will certainly be offered for sale, we do not know if the same will happen with us. Only time will give us an answer.
