Yesterday, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth shared an image of a new Realme smartphone along with a stack of credit cards to tease the followers of his profile. Although Sheth did not disclose the name of the device, GSMArena reported that it has learned from inside sources that this will come to market as the Realme X9.
Realme X9: released live photos of the device, a rebrand of the Realme V15 5G?
As can be seen in the image, the Realme X9 is as thick as you are credit cards. The smartphone sports a colorful back together with the “realme” and “Dare to Leap” brands. The bottom edge of the Realme X9 has a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a microphone. There is no 3,5mm audio jack on the bottom edge, but it's still unclear whether the headphone slot is available on the top edge of the smartphone.
In any case, the appearance of the Realme X9 is quite similar to the Realme V15 5G which was made official in China earlier this month, but the device has yet to be made available outside the domestic market. Whether the Realme X9 arrives as a rebranded version of the Realme V15 5G remains to be seen, which has neither a 3,5mm audio jack nor a microSD card slot.
