Oppo's Realme X50 series seems to be getting closer to launch according to the latest rumors coming from China. To these are now added official data about the 5G technology that we will find on the devices.
Realme X50 5G Series: Better 5G support than Redmi K30
Realme has indeed revealed on the Chinese social network Weibo that the X50 5G series will arrive with a 5G module with support for dual-mode NSA / SA technology. This will allow us to connect to many more 5G bands in the future than NSA-only technology. But the brand has gone further and has also made official all the bands supported by the device; we therefore have the n1, n41, n78 and n79.
These are the four main bands that should bring an excellent 5G user experience, provided that the area of use is covered by the signal. There is also a small background that surrounds Realme's announcement. In fact, according to Chinese media, Oppo's sub-brand is indirectly attacking the Redmi K30 5G presented a few days ago.
Unlike the Realme X50 5G series which supports the n1, n41, n78 and n79 bands mentioned above, the Redmi smartphone instead only supports the n41 and n78; so nothing n77 and n79. A lack that could make the Realme option prefer to that of Redmi for many users interested in the 5G connection.
The Realme X50 5G will also be the first opponent of the Redmi K30 5G also with regard to other specifications such as the chipset. Realme's smartphone will equip the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G just like that of Redmi. While the Pro variant of the X30 will adopt the Snapdragon 865 (data already officially confirmed).
Finally, the companion also revealed that the device is able to use the WiFi and 5G network simultaneously for record download speeds.
So the X50 series seems to be already ahead at least on paper, now we just have to wait for the official presentation to know the other specifications and above all the launch price.
