After seeing all sorts of notches, this 2020 will probably be the year in which the various smartphone manufacturers will show off a selfie camera inserted directly into the display. Certainly not a novelty, considering that even smaller brands (such as Oukitel) have had their say in this area, but it is undoubtedly a solution that can be appreciated in the design field. Famous devices are Samsung and not least the Redmi K30, therefore OPPO will also follow this trend, which could see an initiation with the new and awaited Find X2.
To give us the first clues is the Youtuber, Arun Maini aka Mrwhosetheboss, which through a tweet showed a singular smartphone, which although not specified is the OPPO brand, contains some clues that report precisely to the Chinese company. In fact, at the top of the display you can see the icons of battery, clock, Bluetooth connection, Settings and Play Protect. It is precisely this latter element that excludes that the smartphone model may be from Huawei or Honor, considering the impossibility of using Google services.

OPPO smartphone with 44MP dual selfie cam: will he be the new Find X2?
Focusing on the graphic aspect of the icons, one realizes how these are the same views on the recent OPPO Reno 3 with UI ColorsOS 7. Frankie Herrera also thinks about what is hypothesized, who always through a tweet underlines that even the wallpaper coincides with what is given to the OPPO systems.
Probably everything could also be the result of a good photo montage, but if not, we will find ourselves in front of the first smartphone to be equipped with a 44 MP dual selfie camera. Given the recent launch of OPPO Reno 3, it is excluded that a successor of this terminal is already ready, even if the timing is not so far from what happened in the past for the Reno series.
Actually, now I'm certain it's an Oppo device. I got the exact same wallpaper on Oppo Reno 3 Pro! pic.twitter.com/hldvgU7Si0

But the nerd hope is that instead it is the new OPPO Find X2, considering that the top of the range is already "official" considering that the VP of the company already holds it in his hands. But what many argue about is the fact that the first generation of OPPO Find X represented a real revolution in terms of design and therefore this specimen could be considered a step backwards from the Full Screen solution. We just have to wait, probably at MWC 2020, where the Chinese company could delight us with the launch of OPPO Find X2.
