The Vivo X80 series will have a top-of-the-range photographic sector: official confirmations

According to what was officially confirmed by the Chinese company, the series vivo X80, the next generation of top-of-the-range smartphones, will integrate several camera innovations. So, just three days after the official presentation of the entire range consisting of X80, X80 Pro and X80 Pro Plus, new interesting confirmations arrive from the company. Here are the details.

Vivo X80 will have the new high-end CMOS sensor from Sony

Vivo's goal is to compete at the highest levels with regard to the photographic rendering of its new devices. And try to do it by making its new high-end CMOS sensor from Sony debut on its X80 line, that is IMX866. Compared to the previous generation of sensors, this will have an optical format of 1 / 1.5 "(unlike the previous model, which was 1 / 1,56"). Hence, it will just be bigger.

The resolution hasn't been specific yet, but there will be gimbal stabilization, typical of the brand. It is also known that the lens will be seven elements and will benefit from a Zeiss anti-reflective coating (available on all cameras).

The sensor should also ensure a greater amount of light captured, thanks to the integrated RGBW filter, which will replace the Quad Bayer mounted on the predecessor.
