Vivo, Redmi and OPPO dominate in China, Huawei and Honor at historic lows

According to data recently released by Master Lu, the Vivo, Redmi and OPPO brands accounted for 19,76%, 18,74% and 14,55% respectively, and the three together accounted for more than 50% of the Chinese mobile phone market.

Vivo, Redmi and OPPO dominate in China, Huawei and Honor at historic lows

The site Master Lu said that Vivo was the biggest brand in the Android market in the first half of the year and its rapid growth correlated with its clear positioning. From full low-end to high-end and mid-range coverage, Vivo has achieved a one-to-one match with purchasing needs.

The second and third places are Redmi and OPPO. As we know Redmi is the sub brand of Xiaomi and aims to create a device with an excellent specific price ratio. After independence, it has a wide range of models and takes on the task of selling in large quantities, allowing Xiaomi to consistently reach the high end.

Constrained by the interruption of the supply of chips, Huawei's market share has continued to decline.

Honor's share fell after its independence from Huawei. At the time of the 2020 annual report, Honor was still TOP4. It has now dropped to seventh place and is overtaken by Realme, who is now gaining momentum.
