Let's start with the performance of the Vivo S10 series which despite the fact that it is not really created to bring high performance, still sees the excellent and performing Dimensity 1100, together with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 type flash memory, or the fastest on the market. So it is a smartphone that also from the gaming and user experience point of view has nothing to envy to more gaming-oriented devices.

In terms of hardware and performance, the vivo S10 series configuration is relatively balanced overall; in general a very good compromise when it comes to thinner and lighter devices.

Let's go now to the real strength of the Vivo S10 series: the selfies. The main front camera uses a 44 megapixel sensor, which can take clear photos regardless of distance thanks to its autofocus system. At the same time, it uses a large aperture of f / 2.0 to ensure sufficient light input.

But even more important for the Vivo S10 series which solves the problem of night shots poco sharp with its group photo overlay algorithm with its 105 degree front wide angle lens that allows you to shoot clearly even at night.

The smartphone is also equipped with a unique low-light shooting system developed by Vivo: two soft lights emanating from micro-slits on the front can help fill the subject with light whether you are taking photos or shooting videos.

The Vivo S10 series' natural portrait algorithm then adopts more realistic skin quality enhancement technology and at the same time adds light makeup designed by professional makeup artists and color toning by professional photographers, allowing you to take selfies with great texture of skin, makeup, color and details.

As for the rear cameras instead, we have the Vivo S10 Pro with an ultra-sharp 100 megapixel main sensor, an 120 megapixel 8 degree ultra wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro lens that supports a focus distance of 4 cm. The base Vivo S10 loses the 108MP camera in favor of a 64MP sensor; all the others remain unchanged.

Moving on to the display, the Vivo S10 series adopts a 6,44-inch AMOLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution that supports a screen refresh rate of 90Hz and a screen sample rate of 180Hz.

Where the series disappoints enough is in the battery compartment. Being above all a model with a very thin (we are talking about only 7,29mm) and light premium design, the internal battery has a capacity of only 4050mAh. That said, the smartphone supports 44W fast charging, so it will recharge quickly to be able to leave without too many regrets. To be precise, the 44W fast charge can charge the device by 38% in just 15 minutes.

The design is still very charming and is quite reminiscent of the square iPhones of previous generations.

Finally, for prices, as previously mentioned the Vivo S10 series has a starting price of 2999 yuan, about 390 euros for the S10 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory. While the Vivo S10 Pro with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory will be sold in China at a price of 3399 yuan, about 450 euros at the current exchange rate.
