The latest from China suggests that Chinese smartphone maker Vivo could launch the new Vivo S12 and Vivo S12 Pro by the end of this month.
Vivo S12 Pro coming later this month with new selfie cameras, chips and displays
The news comes from the well-known Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station who also revealed the main specifications of the Vivo S12 Pro. In particular, he stated that the S12 Pro will have upgrades over the previous generation in specifications such as the display, front cameras and processor.
The Vivo S12 Pro should indeed house an OLED display with a higher refresh rate, a Full HD + resolution and an integrated fingerprint scanner on the screen. In the renders of the S12 Pro we can see that its screen will have a centrally positioned hole, curved edges and a larger notch to accommodate a couple of selfie cameras. Recall that the Vivo S10 Pro had a 6,44-inch flat AMOLED screen.
As for photos, the S12 Pro is expected to come with a 1-megapixel Samsung JN50 lens as the main selfie camera, which could be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
Finally, according to the leakster, the Vivo S12 Pro will have a triple 108 megapixel camera and run with OriginOS Ocean as the operating system.
