vivo pushes hard on photography: the smartphone with superzoom will be like this

live is continuing to invest large sums of money in photo sensors. We have seen how vivo X60 and family is one of the best, if not the best, device out there in this regard. Furthermore, with the collaboration with Zeiss, has taken the Chinese brand to another level compared to the competition. The team of LetsGoDigital brought us a patent that tells of a revolution that the company wants to bring to its smartphones, called itself superzoom. Let's go see the details.

vivo has patented a smartphone, or rather a photographic sensor, truly one of a kind: here is vivo superzoom. All the details

This time, vivo appears to be exploring the possibility of developing one pop-up camera with super telephoto zoom capability, as current smartphones only have a limited zoom range. Earlier this year, the behemoth applied for a patent at theWorld Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) for a “camera module, electronic device and camera module control method”.

The documentation states that current smartphones only support "low multiple zoom" while the brand's new invention should allow for "high multiple zoom". In other words, with the patented camera system, vivo wants make a wider zoom range is possible. To get a better idea of the patented superzoom camera technology, the graphic designer Technizo Concept created a series of renderings based on the patent in question.

It is a pop-up camera system, but it is not oriented towards the front but towards that back. This gives the device a futuristic and elegant look. The front is equipped with a camera positioned below the screen. As we can see, the release of the rear sensor occurs through a "telescopic" mechanism. But the interesting thing is that every step of this mechanism is equipped with a camera.

It is not clear where the flash will be integrated. In the concept design of Technizo Concept, an elegant was chosen flash ring that is placed around the lower lens of the camera, so that the symmetrical design remains intact. It is an exclusive invention of vivo, such as we have never encountered before. However, the question remains whether such camera system is profitable to use in a smartphone. Not to mention the fragile nature of this system. The company has already released several smartphones with a camera pop-up. Let's think, for example, of the Vivo Nex, but also of the Vivo V15 Pro and the V17 Pro.
