Last month, live announced its advanced photo processing technologies. Now the Chinese company has revealed the second generation of its ISP processor. Compared to the versions vivo V1 and V1 + released earlier, many have been made improvements to get footage of quality top on mobile devices. vivo V2, the new proprietary chip of the Chinese company, promises absolute quality photos and videos with poco energy expenditure
The new chip adopts dual-core connection technology to enable high-speed communication between vivo V2 and the new processor MediaTek Dimensity 9200. Although they use different architectures and instruction sets, vivo was able to achieve the synchronization between chips in just 1/100 of a secondthus ensuring optimal coordination of data and processing power.
The vivo V2 includes a deep learning DLA-Vivo AI and an integrated large-capacity SRAM cache for high processing power and data density. It is said that this chip reduce theoretical maximum energy consumption by 99,2% and the energy efficiency ratio of 200% compared to the use of external DDR memory commonly used in NPUs. Put simply, vivo V2 allows you to reduce the load on the main chipset, reducing power consumption and significantly speeding up data processing while shooting.

The company also talked about its imaging technologies once again. For example, Ultra Zoom EIS, Combining IMU, OIS ed ICE CREAM, restores up to 35% of details when shooting at five times the zoom, reducing shake and stabilizing the image even in the viewfinder. Furthermore, vivo is proud of its technology of zero-latency shooting, which makes it easy to capture a precious shot. In the end, RawEnhance 2.0 increases sensor sensitivity in low light conditions and uses a multi-frame overlay method to produce sharp, high-quality photos even in less than ideal conditions.
It is assumed that vivo V2, along with Dimensity 9200, will appear in the new flagship smartphones of the series X90, which could be submitted by the end of this month. Unfortunately, there have been no official announcements yet.
