Vivo Watch2 certified on TENAA: here is design and specifications

As we have learned in previous weeks, Vivo will soon launch the successor to its first smartwatch. The new smartwatch is expected to launch under the name Vivo Watch2 and more details have surfaced today along with a photo of its TENAA certification.

Vivo Watch2 certified on TENAA: here is design and specifications

According to what we can see in the photos, the Vivo Watch2 will have a round dial like its predecessor. On the bezel there are white separators, while the straps are black. That said, the smartwatch should also be available in other colors.

In any case, according to the Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station, the wearable will come with an OLED-type display and with a higher screen-to-body ratio than last year's model. It also mentions that the smartwatch has a battery capacity of 515mAh, which is an increase over the 478mAh battery inside the 46mm Vivo Watch.

This larger battery will be needed as the Vivo Watch2 will have an eSIM for making calls and sending messages. Furthermore, there is a possibility that this time around there is only a single size as a 42mm version with eSIM support would have a very bad runtime due to the reduced battery. In fact, the 42mm Vivo Watch had a battery capacity of only 226mAh and an autonomy of 9 days compared to the battery life of 18 days compared to the 46mm version.

Finally, the leakster goes on to reveal that the smartwatch will support three networks with eUICC support, support multiple apps, and still have long battery life as one of its strengths.
