Last month, we talked about the possibility that the recent Vivo X50 series may debut globally in July but so far we have not received any official data.
Vivo X50 and X50 Pro: Global launch confirmed for mid-July
Well, apparently a new teaser of the Chinese brand now seems to confirm its arrival by mid-July, with the date still uncertain between 16 and 17. The smartphones of the X50 series will be presented on different markets, but we will be limited to the Vivo models X50 and X50 Pro. So the most premium model of all, the Vivo X50 Pro +, will remain a Chinese exclusive.
We quickly recall that the Vivo X50 Pro adopts a main camera with a gimbal-style stabilization that promises to offer more stable videos than all its competitors. It features a 48 MP sensor - the Sony IMX598 - but offers faster f / 1.6 aperture. We also have a periscope module that offers an f / 3.4 aperture for taking photos from long distance.
Other specs include a 6,56 ″ OLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G as a CPU.
Finally, we have the Vivo X50 base with the same main camera but without a gimbal and without a periscope lens. The X50 is the world's thinnest 5G smartphone with a thickness of only 7,49 mm.
