Today took place the official presentation of the new flagship series of smartphones vivo X90. The company started by showing the base model, built on the basis of the processor MediaTek Dimensity 9200. To accompany this "standard" device, there is also a version Pro and Pro +. They definitely have one as their strong point camera (almost) without equal, but also an enviable hardware equipment. Let's see the three devices in detail, complete with technical specifications and prices.

The vivo X90 hardware platform is the new 9200nm MediaTek Dimension 4 processor, which includes a Cortex X3 super-core, three A715 cores, four energy-efficient A510 cores and a graphics accelerator Immortalis-G715. Also, the smartphone has a proprietary ISP vivo V2, which increases the speed of processing photos and videos, as well as reducing power consumption. The basic model is equipped with the IMX989 photographic sensor. Use a sensor instead 866 megapixel Sony VCS IMX50 with f/1.75 lens aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). The battery capacity of 4810 mAh with support for charging from 120w is responsible for the autonomy of the smartphone. In 8 minutes, the device recharges up to 50% of energy. Other features indicate the presence of stereo speakers, NFC and IP64 protection. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 13 with the latest version of the OriginOS 3 proprietary skin.

The vivo X90 Pro looks like a Plus version, but has a number of fundamental differences. For example, use a BOE Q9 panel (like in vivo X90) with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels. It has a MediaTek Dimension 9200 processor too. LPDDR5X RAM is only used in the top configuration of 12GB – 512GB and in the rest we find LPDDR5. The battery capacity is 4870 mAh with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The main (IMX989) and secondary (IMX758) cameras are the same as the vivo X90 Pro+. There is no second telephoto lens, but the ultra wide angle one is equipped with an IMX663 sensor from 12 megapixel. It also has IP68 water protection.

Let's move on to the top model. The main advantage of the vivo X90 Pro + is a Sony sensor 989″ 1 megapixel IMX50 with a pixel size of 3,2 microns. Paired with this sensor is an f/1.75 lens with optical image stabilization (OIS). The second camera is a 114-degree ultra-wide-angle camera with an IMX598 sensor from 48 megapixel. In addition, the smartphone received two more cameras - one for portraits with an equivalent focal length of 50mm (a 758-megapixel Sony IMX50 sensor), and the other a XNUMX-megapixel sensor. 64 megapixel with an objective periscope (90 mm equivalent) with 100x digital zoom with OIS. Here, too, the proprietary vivo V2 processor is responsible for processing photos and videos.
The smartphone in its Pro version equips the processor Snapdragon 8 Gen2. It comes with 12 GB of LPDDR5X type RAM and with the possibility of virtual expansion up to 20 GB. Internal memory is a drive UFS 4.0 high-speed with a capacity of 256 or 512 GB. It is also worth noting that a connector is used for data transfer USB Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 1.
