After unveiling the Vivo Y31s last month in China, which is the world's first smartphone with Snapdragon 480 chip, today a new device called Vivo Y31s Standard Edition has appeared on the China Telecom website. It is thought to be a new version of the Vivo Y31s but with a different chipset.

The model number of the Vivo Y31s Standard Edition appears to be V2068A, while that of the Y31s was V2054A. The two smartphones adopt an identical design, which includes a teardrop notch display, a side fingerprint scanner and a square-shaped camera module with two cameras and an LED.
The Vivo Y31s features a 6.51-inch display with Full HD + resolution, while the Vivo Y31s Standard Edition offers an HD + resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The new device is also powered by the Dimensity 700, or so the model number MT6833 suggests. Apart from these differences, the remaining specifications of the Vivo Y31s Standard Edition are the same as the Vivo Y31.
The Vivo Y31s Standard Edition then has an 8 megapixel front camera. While on the rear we have a 13 megapixel primary lens and a 2 megapixel secondary sensor. The smartphone is equipped with a 4,910mAh battery with 18W charging support.
Now we just have to wait for the official presentation to find out the price.
