After days of rumor and leaks, the Vivo Y50 has finally been announced. Unlike the Live V19 which was also announced today, the Vivo Y50 is a slightly cheaper and consequently less performing model.

The Vivo Y50 offers a renewed design both in the front and in the rear as regards the "Y" series. In front, the smartphone has a perforated display instead of a typical drop-notch design. The display uses IPS LCD technology is 6,53 inches large and adopts an FHD + resolution. While the camera inside has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
Turning on the back, the smartphone arrives with a rectangular module that houses a quad-camera configuration. The module includes a 13 megapixel main camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, a 2 megapixel macro camera and another 2 megapixel sensors to capture data on depth of field.
From the performance point of view, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 665 coupled with a maximum of 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of integrated storage space, expandable via microSD card.
As for autonomy instead, the smartphone adopts a 5.000mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 18 W. While software side, we find FuntouchOS 10 based on Android 10.
The Vivo Y50 was presented in Cambodia with a price of 249 dollars, or about 230 € at the current exchange rate.
