The DxOMark portal has published a report on vivo Y72 5G main camera test. Although the lab specialists have questions about the details of the footage, they were impressed with the smartphone's autofocus feature. The rear camera of the mid-range vivo Y72 5G includes i 64 and 8 megapixel main and ultra wide-angle sensorsas well as a goal 2 megapixel macro. The device supports 2160p video recording at 30 frames per second.

According to experts, the camera vivo Y72 5G offers good exposure and low noise in indoor photos and outdoor videos. DxOMark also noted natural color rendition and white balance in videos, regardless of lighting, and excellent depth ratings in portrait mode.

The big advantage of the vivo Y72 5G camera is fast and accurate autofocus for photos, but during video shooting the function worked slowly and unstable. In addition, experts have reported the disadvantages of the smartphone such as unnatural skin tones in images, a low level of detail in all shooting modes, the presence of artifacts and noise in the video, especially in low light conditions.

DxOMark experts also conducted extensive tests of the vivo Y72 5G battery. While it lacks battery capacity and record charging speed, it still took first place in the portal rating.

The device has a 5000 mAh with 18W fast charging support and a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor, made using 7nm process technology. According to DxOMark estimates, the smartphone can work 121 hours in minimum use mode for 2 hours and 30 minutes a day, 85 hours in mode moderate use for 4 hours a day, or withstand 54 hours of intensive use for 7 hours a day. 

Tests have shown that its runtime is even better than that of some models with a larger battery capacity. On average, he is able to work 3.5 days.

With the supplied power adapter, the smartphone recharges in 30 minutes to 33%, in 1 hour and 18 minutes to 80%, and it takes 2 hours and 15 minutes to fully restore energy. Experts also noted the device's high efficiency, based on charging and discharging performance. Among the shortcomings, it was noted that the charging time was far from exceptional and there were inconsistencies in terms of the actual display of the refill. So when the indicator shows 20%, it is actually only 16%.

In all tests, the vivo Y72 5G scored 89 points, the best result of any smartphone tested by DxOMark.
