Vivo has just launched an updated version of the Vivo Z5x which was previously powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset. The new Vivo Z5x 2020 is now powered by a Snapdragon 712 which therefore presents a step forward in terms of performance compared to the old Z5x.
Vivo Z5x 2020 presented in China with a slight upgrade
The Z5x 2020 has a starting price of 1398 Yuan (about 170 euros) for the 6 GB RAM RAM variant. An 8GB RAM variant is also available but the price has not been revealed at the moment. The smartphone will be available for purchase on the Chinese market in three colors: Aurora, Phantom Black and Symphony. Details for its global version have yet to be announced.
The Vivo Z5x 2020 arrives with Android 9 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 and sports a 1080-inch Full-HD + (2340 x 6,53 pixel) display with 19,5: 9 aspect ratio and 90,78% screen-to-body ratio.
As mentioned above, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset and associated with a maximum of 8 GB of RAM. It features a triple camera on the back which is driven by a 16 megapixel primary sensor, an 8 megapixel wide angle lens and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, we find a 16 megapixel sensor in the front.
Finally, the smartphone comes with 128 GB of internal memory and is expandable via microSD card, up to 256 GB. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS, Micro-USB and a 3,5mm headphone jack. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the back and a 5.000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
