Xiaomi and Leica shake hands for a future partnership

After OnePlus with Hasselblad, it could be the turn of Xiaomi with Leica. This is what emerged in the last few hours on Weibo, a well-known Chinese social network counterpart to Twitter. The various telephony companies must increasingly focus on enhancing the photographic sector of their smartphones. But how to do if the firepower is not the same as Google? While the latter can count on unique and super reliable algorithms, the other brands can only rely on leading companies in the sector. So let's see what emerged from the Chinese giant.

Xiaomi and Leica are entering into a partnership to develop a new device: this is what is shown by the latest Chinese rumors

As revealed by the former CEO of Oppo, Shen Yiren, a new company after Huawei would be about to shake hands with Leica. Recall that Leica has always been a German company leader in the photographic sector. But beware: the situation is not what it might seem. Xiaomiaccording to rumors, he is not developing a camera with Leica. As for OnePlus 9 with Hasselblad, the Chinese brand will rely on the German one for the production and study of customized lenses.

Xiaomi would not be the first company to propose itself as a "colleague" of Leica. Also Huawei, well before Lei Jun's company, he caught his eye. In any case, it is currently only rumors. However, these are confirmed by many other Chinese whistleblowers who, in the last few hours, do nothing but endorse the hypothesis that it will be Xiaomi who will collaborate with Leica. We'll see.

In any case, it is no secret that the Chinese brand does not shine for photographic quality. If we don't consider the case of My 11 Ultra, which is equipped with the best sensor on the market (Samsung GN2), users are forced to use one Google Camera. This in fact, unlike the Mi Camera, allows you to take much more beautiful photos.
