Day 1 September ZTE will launch the new Axon 20 5G which as we have learned will be equipped with a selfie camera under the display, making it the first in the world of its kind to be available for sale.

Well, today the CEO of the company posted a teaser on Weibo, the Chinese Twitter. The teaser shows us the front of the phone, along with an ironic background that suggests the new technology will bring nothing but smiles.
The background of the Axon 20 5G makes it clear that any hole, in the corner or in the center (or pill-shaped) would be a disappointment. Of course we also agree that the best solution is to have no holes, but we will have to see how the technology really works before we can claim victory.
As we know from some previous prototypes, the biggest challenge will be image quality, if the brand has managed to solve that problem, then we will see something truly cutting edge.
From the rendering we also notice that the smartphone has a practically non-existent frame at the top and a lower case at the bottom. The side edges are easily visible which means this will be a flat panel with no curved edges. However, the power button is clearly not used as a fingerprint scanner, so the smartphone will most likely adopt an OLED display with a fingerprint sensor underneath.
