Today, Ni Fei, president of ZTE's Terminal Business Unit, announced that the under-screen camera version of ZTE's Axon 30 will soon be released.
ZTE Axon 30 with camera under the screen getting closer to launch
Previously, the ZTE A20 kicked off mass-produced under-screen camera technology in September 2020.
According to rumors in recent weeks, ZTE has reduced intricate line interference on the camera by using new ultra-high transmittance micron-level materials, independently driven screen display chips, and highly integrated minimal circuit design. All this to avoid the interference of complex circuits on the camera and improve the front shooting effect.
After nearly a year, the under-screen camera version of ZTE's Axon 30 will continue to use the same technology but updated to a new generation.
Lv Qianhao, ZTE product manager, pointed out that the “under display” version of the ZTE Axon 30 is a new type of true full screen. It's a quantum leap from the first commercial smartphone with an under-screen camera, the ZTE A20. It has evolved from the third generation under-screen camera technology is much improved over the first generation, both the front camera experience, the screen integration experience and the screen quality have all been improved.
